Ημερίδα με θέμα "Τα Ευρωπαϊκά Προγράμματα Κινητικότητας Φοιτητών & Ερευνητών" από το Κέντρο Ευρωπαϊκής Πληροφόρησης Europe Direct ΕΛΙΑΜΕΠ, το Εθνικό Κέντρο Τεκμηρίωσης (ΕΚΤ) και το Ίδρυμα Κρατικών Υποτροφιών (ΙΚΥ) / Πέμπτη 10 Δεκεμβρίου 2015

Το Κέντρο Ευρωπαϊκής Πληροφόρησης Europe Direct ΕΛΙΑΜΕΠ, το Εθνικό Κέντρο Τεκμηρίωσης (ΕΚΤ) και το Ίδρυμα Κρατικών Υποτροφιών (ΙΚΥ) συνδιοργανώνουν ημερίδα με θέμα "Τα Ευρωπαϊκά Προγράμματα Κινητικότητας Φοιτητών & Ερευνητών". Στην ημερίδα θα παρουσιαστούν οι ευκαιρίες χρηματοδότησης από τα Ευρωπαϊκά Προγράμματα Κινητικότητας, Erasmus+ και Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions.

 

Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Πέμπτη 10 Δεκεμβρίου 2015, στην Αθήνα, στο Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών, Αμφιθέατρο Λ. Ζέρβας (Λεωφ. Βασ. Κωνσταντίνου 48).

In 2015, Casino Luxembourg's artist-in-residence programme moved out from the circumscribed exhibition space into Luxembourg's open public space aiming at a direct confrontation between art—social, committed, provocative, surprising, unusual, playful, interactive—and the public at large in a shared common space.

In 2017, Casino Luxembourg – Forum d'art contemporain will host the second edition of its international residence programme in the public space.

The residence programme is designed so as to provide a maximum flexibility for the working artist and to offer the best possible conditions with regard to the realisation of each project. To get acquainted with Luxembourg's public space, a first visit of Luxembourg will be scheduled in autumn 2016 for the laureate. Subsequently to this visit, the laureate will be requested to develop a first outline of his/her project for Luxembourg. The residence period will be fixed according to the very specific needs of the project (maximum of 12 weeks).

Eligibility
The residence progamme is open to all individual artists or collectives wishing to develop their practice in a professional context by creating a new work. Applicants are free to choose their means of artistic expression but must have accomplished a master's degree in arts (or equivalent) by the beginning of the residence, or, for non-degree holders, must give documented proof of at least a three-year work and exhibition practice. Participants should be fluent in either English, French or German. All applicants must hold a valid visa for the duration of the residence.

Selection procedure
A jury of experts will select the candidate for the residence to be held in 2017 based on the quality of the work and the applicant's potential to use the residence to maximum benefit. The selected candidate will be informed of the jury's decision via email by the end of June 2016.

The jury
The 2017 jury members are Anna Loporcaro, in charge of the cultural programme at Mudam (Luxembourg); Sabina Lang, artist, Burgdorf (Switzerland); Stéphanie Delcroix, curator and art critic, London (UK); Kevin Muhlen, artistic director, Casino Luxembourg – Forum d'art contemporain (Luxembourg) and Christine Walentiny, residence curator, Casino Luxembourg – Forum d'art contemporain (Luxembourg).

Budget
Casino Luxembourg will provide financial and technical support and will be in charge of implementing the artist's project to a maximum cost of EUR 15,000. The participant will be accommodated in a centrally located, self-sufficient flat in Luxembourg city. Casino Luxembourg will take over the artist's travel costs to and from Luxembourg and will pay 500 EUR for 14 days towards general expenses. The participants will receive an artist fee of EUR 2,500 that will be paid at the end of the residence.

Applications must be fully completed and submitted in a single printable PDF file in due time in order to be considered.

Candidates are asked to respect the criteria as described above. The closing date for applications is February 16, 2016 at 4pm (GMT+1). All the below mentioned documents are to be sent to Casino Luxembourg by email to residence@casino-luxembourg.lu in a single printable PDF file.

Each candidate will receive a written confirmation of receipt. The name of the selected candidate will be made public by the end of June 2016.

2) Scan/copy of your passport or identity card
3) Curriculum vitae including your educational record and exhibitions (press articles optional) from 2012 onwards
4) Portfolio (max 10 A4) (big media files can also be sent via Dropbox, WeTransfer, YouSendIt, etc.)
5) An answer to the following questions: "What should contemporary art in public space be?"
You can answer this question by explaining one or more relevant art projects in your practice that took place in public space (max 1 A4).

Do not include a project proposal.

Workshop θεάτρου με τον Wojtek Ziemilski / Βόϊτεκ Ζιεμίλσκι: Ένα θεατρικό εργαστήριο με σκοπό να δημιουργήσει μία παράσταση για την κοινότητα των Κωφών.

 

Workshop θεάτρου με τον Wojtek Ziemilski / Βόϊτεκ Ζιεμίλσκι

Τι δυνατότητες ενυπάρχουν σε μια νοηματική κίνηση; Θα μπορούσε να αποτελέσει μέρος μιας χορογραφίας;

Ένα θεατρικό εργαστήριο με σκοπό να δημιουργήσει μία παράσταση για την κοινότητα των Κωφών.

 

Πότε: Παρασκευή 27 Νοεμβρίου

Πού: Στέγη Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών, Αίθουσα Χορού της Στέγης (4ος όροφος)

Κόστος συμμετοχής: 10 €

Το εργαστήριο αυτό θα αποτελέσει μια σύντομη εισαγωγή στη σύγχρονη θεατρική πρακτική του devising. To devising είναι μια αγγλική προσέγγιση προς το θέατρο η οποία επιτρέπει τη δημιουργία μιας παράστασης, συνήθως μέσα από συλλογικές διαδικασίες, ενώ οτιδήποτε μπορεί να λειτουργήσει ως αφετηρία: ένα κείμενο, μια ιδέα, ή και καμία ιδέα, απλώς μια ομάδα ανθρώπων.

Αυτήν τη φορά, σκοπός του εργαστηρίου είναι να δημιουργήσει μια παράσταση μικρής διάρκειας για την κοινότητα των κωφών.
Στη διάρκεια του εργαστηρίου θα εξερευνήσουμε τη νοηματική γλώσσα ως θεατρικό εργαλείο. Τι δυνατότητες ενυπάρχουν σε μια νοηματική κίνηση; Θα μπορούσε να αποτελέσει μέρος μιας χορογραφίας; Θα μπορούσε να είναι μια κοινή μορφή επικοινωνίας; Τι παραστατικές δυνατότητες εμπεριέχει;

Οι παραστάσεις του έργου του Γεωργίου Μ. Βιζυηνού «Το Αμάρτημα της Μητρός μου», σε σκηνοθεσία Ηλία Λογοθέτη και παραγωγή της εταιρείας ‘’ΩΔΗ’’, (για ένατη χρονιά), συνεχίζονται στο ΘΕΑΤΡΟ ΤΗΣ ΑΝΩΤΑΤΗΣ ΣΧΟΛΗΣ ΚΑΛΩΝ ΤΕΧΝΩΝ- Πειραιώς 256.Έναρξη παραστάσεων 21 ΝΟΕΜΒΡΙΟΥ. (Κάθε Σάββατο: 20.30 και Κυριακή στις 19.00). Εκτός των ημερομηνιών : 12 και 13 Δεκεμβρίου 2015 και 23 και 24 Ιανουαρίου 2016.

Το διήγημα του Γεωργίου Βιζυηνού «Το Αμάρτημα της Μητρός μου» παρουσιάζεται χωρίς καμία απολύτως αλλαγή στη γλώσσα ή περικοπή του κειμένου. Έργο αριστουργηματικό, γραμμένο από ένα μέγιστο Συγγραφέα που πίστευε ότι το ζήτημα της γλώσσας, << το περί νεοελληνικής γλώσσης ζήτημα είναι ουσιωδέστερον ακόμη και αυτού του ανατολικού ζητήματος>> για το Έθνος μας.

Ο Γεώργιος Βιζυηνός αυτοσυστήνεται στο Αμάρτημα της Μητρός μου με τον παροιμιώδη ιλιγγιώδη τρόπο του και ο συνταρακτικά γραμμένος μύθος του ομώνυμου διηγήματος ζωντανεύει επί σκηνής. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι τα τραγούδια που ακούγονται είναι ποιήματα του Γεωργίου Βιζυηνού και μελοποιήθηκαν ειδικά για την παράσταση.

Η παράσταση παράλληλα με την εξέλιξη της πλοκής, αναδεικνύει τη γοητεία της γλώσσας, τη λεπτότητα των αισθημάτων και τις αποχρώσεις του χαρακτήρα του Βιζυηνού και της μητέρας του και αποτελεί μια σύγχρονη πρόταση χρήσης εικαστικού και μουσικού περιβάλλοντος.

Το ξανθό και γαλανό

και ουράνιο φώς μου,

μετεβλήθη εντός μου

και ο ρυθμός τού κόσμου

HackTheBook - Open Call

 

Η Στέγη του Ιδρύματος Ωνάσησε συνεργασία με το ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα Εuropeana Space διοργανώνουν το HackTheBook, τον πρώτο μαραθώνιο επαναπροσδιορισμού του βιβλίου στις 22, 23 & 24 Ιανουαρίου 2016.

 

Το HackTheBook προ(σ)καλεί φοιτητές προπτυχιακού και μεταπτυχιακού επιπέδου να συμμετέχουν σε ένα 48ωρο μαραθώνιο με αντικείμενο το βιβλίο. Στόχος του HackTheBook είναι να σχεδιάσουν οι φοιτητές ένα υβριδικό βιβλίο απαντώντας σε τέσσερις τεχνικές προκλήσεις  (Book Design/Interface Design, Open Hardware, APIs, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability) αξιοποιώντας ανοικτό,ψηφιακό πολιτιστικό περιεχόμενο από το αποθετήριο της Europeana.

Πρόσκληση για συμμετοχή σε διαγωνισμό μόδας από το "International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères" / Λήξη προθεσμίας 25 Νοεμβρίου 2015

Please find in this mail the call for entries for the fashion competition of the International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères, held each Spring, at the French art center villa Noailles in the South of France.

The renowned competition targets emerging fashion designers.

Gathering an international jury, renewed on a yearly basis, the festival offers a unique platform to young talents for promoting their work and getting an international audience as well as a great support, notably through several granted awards, fashion shows and exhibitions.

You can find more information (dates, previous jury members list, shortlisted fashion designers, etc.) on the poster attached.

We would be very grateful if you could please spread the word amongst your students and ex-students and make this call for entries available to them.
