Guldagergaard-International Ceramic Research Center, is writing to you to invite your graduate students to participate in Project Network, a six week long symposium for recently graduated students and emerging talent.

Project Networkis our own invention, originally designed to be exclusively for Scandinavian students, but as the rumor spread about this great project, we started to invite and include students from Europe, North America, and Asia. We are still expanding our network of schools worldwide. Last year, we had  30 paticipants from 14 countries. This experience provides the recently graduated students with a valuable international network to use as they develop their careers as professional artists.

Each participant is recommended by their educational institution. The symposium runs for two 6-week sessions each year,  with 10 participants each session. The young people live and work together at Guldagergaard those 6 weeks, while working on their individual ceramic projects. The participants also receive individual critiques and workshops by visiting Danish and International artists.

The Project Network symposium ends with a culminating group exhibition and a full color catalogue.

Students pay a participation fee, and are responsible for all living expenses, kiln and material expenses themselves.

Students apply through our website, www.ceramic.dk, and we accept recommendations from the nominating educational institutions by email. The Application deadline is June 15th, 2012.

The two sessions of Project Network for 2012/2013 will take place from Nov. 1st to Dec. 17th, 2012, and from Jan. 3rd to Feb. 18th, 2013.

ICRC Guldagergaard is an International Ceramic Research Center in Denmark that offers residencies for ceramic artists and designers.
