The Academic Master’s Programme provides students with knowledge and critical insights into the historical, political and scientific challenges, especially in discussing history and current state of cultural policy, administration, cultural research and arts management.
In the master's programme in Cultural Policy students achieve abilities to:
- Evaluatethe positions of culture and cultural policy in societal and global transformation processes
- Compare and explore international and national systems of cultural policy and questions such as cultural economy, media and multiculturalism
- Analysethe historical development, theories and future of cultural phenomena and policies in various geographical and sectoral contexts
- Critically applytheoretical, methodological and empirical knowledge
- Work creativelyin international branches of culture
