Έκθεση φοιτητών της ΑΣΚΤ και διακριθέντων του Berlin Art Prize / Φουαγιέ Θεάτρου ΑΣΚΤ / 2 Νοεμβρίου 2015 (02/11/2015)

I'll dive in deeper, deeper for you / blind stages and walkings statics

Following lines, lines and obstacles. Passing architecture, standing, waiting, sitting in bus-lines.
Shaking our bodie’s minds. Interacting with you is public, being passive with you is public.
As public as private commercials are. As public as governmental decisions are. As public as
individual privileges are. Making myself public? Diving deeper into it, under it. Urban space
a get together. Blind stages and walking statics. Interacting with each other. Confrontations with
strange scents, foreign perfumes passing my moments.
Sitting, standing, waiting. Altogether in passive attractions to the melody of the public.

For the workshop „Mimesis – Materiality of Walls“ – taken place on Hydra, a get together of
artists was made possible by the Berlin Art Prize 2015 and the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA).

The Berlin based artists and winners of the Berlin Art Prize 2015 Rike Horb., Miriam Yammad and
Julian Weber discussed urban space and its connotations together with students of the ASFA.
Together they filtered out multiple faces of urban space and discussed what it means to be in public.
They shared their experiences of crossing social borders and the sense of activism and subversion.
They shared their views on architectural structures and social segregations. They discussed
governmental decision making processes and personal routines. And they questioned the possibility
of interacting. So within the workshop urban space lost once again its neutrality.
